And the award for worst blogger goes to.......

ME!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been SUCH a crappy blogger lately. I keep promising I will try to be better, but honestly I’ve been so busy that by the time I get home I have NO desire to be on the computer.

Which leads me to……………

I’m back at work! That exclamation point might lead you to believe that I am happy to be back at work, but that’s not the case. I miss my girl SOOOOOOOOOO much! I have seen ever almost every single day at lunch (Except one day when daddy took her to see Grandpa and Grandma while he worked. It was just a little too far for me to make it on my lunch hour).

Here are a couple of pics from my first day back at work...

My days go by much faster now that I’m back at work. If Craig’s working, he or I pick Miss Hailey up from my aunts and go straight home. We try to get everything done within the first couple hours of being home. I like to unload and reload the dishwasher (baby needs clean bottles), unload and reload Hailey’s diaper bag, Daddy gives Hailey a bath (every other night), I get her ready for bed, there’s almost always some laundry to do, she eats/we eat, we take showers and we have the last couple hours of the night to relax. I would rather rush when I get home than rush before bed or spread all of the duties out until bed. No thanks. I need some time to unwind.

My days have been starting EARLY. I’ve made good in my promise to myself to get to the gym every morning before work. Normally that means waking up at 4:30 or 5 in the morning. Thankfully, I have the best husband EVER because if Hailey wakes up when I wake up or just before I need to leave, he gets up and feeds her and puts her back to sleep. What a guy =) I am so lucky.

The last couple mornings Hailey has gotten me up at 3:30 and 3:45. I change her and feed her and TRY to get her back to sleep and if I can’t, Daddy wakes up to take over =) So I can get to the gym.

The only reason Hailey has been waking up so early the last two days is bc we have fed her and put her to bed a little earlier than usual. Normally her last feeding is at 930 or 10 and we change her into her “snuggie” (snuggie = sleep sack) and she knows it’s bed time and has her longest sleep. Normally until 5, 6 or even 730! She’s such a good sleeper. It will work out best for us if we keep her last feeding as close to 10 as possible.

My girl’s sleeping all night! I am so happy! I hope it stays that way!

On to bigger and better things… yes, still about my kid!

HAILEY IS 3 MONTHS OLD!!! (well 3 mos and a few days) Holy moly! Why does time have to go by so fast? Before I know it she’s going to be out of this cuddly baby stage and into EVERYTHING =) Oh my gosh………

HAPPY 3 MONTHS HAILEY!

Who hasn't had a little spit up on their face on their "birthday"? LOL

Hailey is “talking” up a storm. Obviously not saying words we understand yet but she’s saying something and I love it. She smiles and squeals all the time.

Her favorite thing… looking at herself in the mirror. (Can you blame her? She’s freaking adorable!)We take her to see “the baby in the mirror” and she goes crazy.

She’s getting bigger every day. Already fitting into 6 month jammies. I realize that the sizes are just a rough guideline, but she seems so big. She’s very tall. She didn’t have a chance at being short =)

Oh… and the girl can EAT. We just bumped her up to 6oz every 3-4 hours.

Here are a few random pics from the last month or so. I't still working on getting her to look and SMILE but she knows that when she sees the camera a flash comes with it... she doens't like that!

Sitting on Roxy

Hailey started jumping in her Jump-a-roo at 11 weeks!

"Sleepy baby"

My happy girl! She loves the swing Auntie Jennifer gave her!

Hailey loves sleeing in her daddy's arm(s) =)

Being a baby is hard work!

Happy baby/Happy mommy

We went to visit daddy's BMX racing friend Brandon and his family. Emma wanted a picture with Daddy and Hailey!
(Daddy needs to learn how to fix Hailey's headband before pictures!! LOL)

That’s all I’ve got for you today! I’ll be back to update you more… sometime soon?!?!!

Back to the Grind

Yep... you read that right. Monday is my first day back to work after the best 4 months of my life.

I went off work September 21st... KNOWING my baby was going to be early and I needed some time to relax and get a few things done around the house before she got here.

October 18th (my due date) rolled around and STILL no baby. Craig and I were getting extremely antzy and were ready to meet our little girl already.

October 26th (a week late) I was 1 week over due and ready to "get that baby out". Not because I had a miserable pregnancy but because I wanted to see who exactly was kicking/punching me from the inside for all these months.

Daddy was ready to meet his girl!

Just before we headed out the door

My induction, although everything went pretty smoothly, was quite an experience. An experience that ended up being the very best day of my life.

At 11:57pm we met the love of our lives...

Hailey Marie

The most beautiful baby I have ever laid eyes on.

(FYI... I am totally crying my eyes out right now. Those hormones must still be hanging around!)

The next week or two were a whirlwind of friends and family coming over to meet our new addition. Everyone was so great. People brought us food and gifts for Hailey. We were so happy that so many people were so eager to meet her and excited for us.

Today Hailey is almost 12 weeks old. I can't even tell you where the last 11 weeks have gone. I can tell you that they have been the best 11 weeks of my life... by far =)

I am SO bummed that I have to go back to work. Not because I don't like my job or the people I work with, but because I have to leave my baby girl every day. Thankfully my aunt will be watching her the majority of the time and I can spend lunch hours with her whenever I want.

It's time for me to go back to work and "bring home the bacon". I know Monday will be a sad day for me, but I am SOOOOO thankful to have gotten to spend the first couple of months of Hailey's life taking care of her and getting to know her. Obviously we will have nights and weekends to spend together and I will cherish those.

They grow up so fast!

Goodbye 2010, HELLO 2011

2010 was an amazing year for us! It started off with a bang! If you read my blog previously, you might remember I set some resolutions last year. You can check them out here. Take special notice to #6! =)

We found out I was pregnant with our baby girl Hailey in Febuary (officially) and I announced it HERE in March. From the day we were blessed with the good news the weeks just FLEW by!

To be honest, the entire year is a blur. It seriously went by too fast but I am so happy it did because October 26, 2010 we were given the best gift EVER...

Hailey is by far the best thing to ever have happened to me! We are so happy to have her.

I have a feeling 2011 is going to be a great year. So far so good. I can't wait to watch our little girl grow!

I also can't wait to get back into the swing of things. Although I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be a stay at home mommy, that's just not possible for me. I'm not looking forward to leaving my girl and going back to work in LESS than two weeks (booooooo!) but I am looking forward to getting back into some sort of a routine. As much as I love hanging around with in my jammies and taking care of Hailey, I miss my daily work outs and interaction with grown ups... a little! LOL

Aside from that, I would really like to set some goals for myself. I am happy to report that I am about a pound over my pre-pregnancy weight. I'm happy with that but would really like to tone things up. Having a baby changes your body. Even though I am almost back to my original weight, I still feel like I have some work to do. So... I won't set a "weight loss" resolution. I will, however, resolute (is that even a word???) to eat healthy, tone up and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Another one of my resolutions last year was to run a half marathon... or two. This year I am not so ambitious. I would like to attempt ONE half marathon! I have been out of commission for a little while and I think ONE half marathon is more than enough. This will give me a goal to work towards and it's a huge accomplishment.

The other resolutions from last year are ongoing.

That's all I've got for now! WOW... I posted two days in a row!

An Update, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Yes... Yes... Yes... I am still around! Man, It's hard to keep up w/ the blogging with a new baby! Especially when I have so many cute pics I want to post. Seems like loading pics takes way too long, but it's totally worth it.

Sooooo what's been going on, you ask?

Our daughter is now 10 weeks old (2 1/2 Months... WHAT?!?!?!)

She's growing up so fast. She smiles, laughs and squeels like crazy. I love our mornings together! She's totally a morning (little) person!

Our baby girl celebrated her first CHRISTMAS and NEW YEARS over the last couple of weeks.

I'm not going to lie... I have been struggling with a lot of stress. I think the holidays really took a toll on me. New baby, not working = not making as much $, planning a New Years trip, etc. It was a lot on top of raging post pregnancy hormones. I'm feeling much better now! Whew...

On to the good stuff!

We celebrated Christmas eve at my family's house and Craig's parents, sister and the kids joined us too! We ate, drank and opened presents.

 Hailey's 1st Christmas "Eve"

Merry Christmas EVE!

It was an earlier "Christmas Eve night" than usual because we were leaving as soon as Miss Hailey woke up on Christmas morning to head down to So Cal to spend Christmas day with Craig's family.

We wanted to take a few pics of Hailey opening her presents Christmas morning but she passed out right after she ate so we packed up and headed out.

We made the long drive to So Cal and made it just in time to celebrate Christmas day at Craig's cousin Kim's house. She went all out! If you are reading Kim... thank you SO much for everything =)

Craig and I don't get down to visit the family in So Cal often enough... It was so nice!

I'm horrible and didn't take ANY pictures =( This one is courtesy of Julie! Thank you Julie!

Mommy and Hailey on Hailey's 1st Christmas!

Since we were leaving for Glamis the next morning, we had our toy hauler with us and that's where we slept. "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation" style!

It was nice to break up the LONG drive a little by stopping in LA. The drive to Glamis was about 4 hours from Kim's house.

We finally made it to Glamis to spend a WEEK and ring in the new year.

The trip included us, my brother Spenser, our friends Landon and Dedira, Craig's parents, Craig's cousin's and their families AND the AARP retirement group =)

There are TONS of pictures so enjoy the slide show!
