Our Weekend... in a nutshell!

Craig and I had another REALLY busy weekend. We had a ton of fun tho! Started off with Fiesta Friday! We made tacos together and they turned out SO GOOD! Sorry no pics of that! =) Spenser came over and hung out later and had some leftovers! Saturday morning we got up and did some running around and then headed out to our friend Cheri's surprise 40th birthday at Van and JoAnn's house. We had a great time and I think Cheri had a great 40th! She got some "interesting" gifts!!! Some of us went "swimming" later on. Well it was more like some of us got thrown in the pool in our clothes! Either way it was a good time. Sunday Craig and I headed up to North Lake Tahoe for our friends Justin and Shelby's wedding. The wedding turned out so nice and they both looked gorgeous and so happy! We love Lake Tahoe and it was so nice to get out of town.

THE BEACH...

I just cannot stop obsessing over another tropical vacation! I put together this little "inspiration board" of places I would LOVE to be right now! I can't wait to get back to another gorgeous beach and explore another tropical location. I also wouldn't mind going back to Cancun... again!

OF COURSE I couldn't forget the "kids" so I had to add the pic of the cute lab doggies on the beach. I know our girls would LOVE IT! Unfortunately Pismo will have to work for them! =) But at this rate it may have to work for me too!

TGIF BABY!

Soooo here I am... I don't really have much to "blog" about today other than the fact that it is Friday and I am SUPER excited about that! I am not really sure what we are doing this weekend. It's actually nice having a weekend where its not ALL booked up! I think I will make tacos for dinner tonight and maybe have a couple cocktails! Mexican beer or Mojitos... ooohhhhh and chips with homemade guacamole!!!! MMM! Does it get any better?? Maybe those things will bring back some Cancun memories! Since I can't be there maybe I can eat like I am! =) Mexican night! I will let ya know how it turns out!

Busy Weekend!

Wow! We had a busy weekend!
Craig and I laid low Friday night and made dinner together. It was delicious! After that I headed out for a drink with my friend Jamie at La Salsa! Cocktails by the "lake"! =) Everyone who knows Ellis Lake knows why I put the word "lake" in quotations! Anyway... it was nice to get a chance to hang out with Jamie... we don't hang out as much as we would like but we decided we are gonna to work on that!
Saturday morning I got up early and headed to Tiffany's bridal shower brunch! The shower could not have turned out any better (well...maybe if it was a under 100 degrees!) We had such a good time! Tiffany has some wonderful family and friends! I am so happy for her! By the end of the shower me, Tiff and Gaby were all so hot we decided to go for a quick dip in the pool... in our dresses!!! Good times =) A day we will never forget. Tiff... I hope you had as good of a time as I did! Can't wait for Round 2 *** BACHELORETTE PARTY IN TAHOE*** Stay tuned!!!!
After Tiffany's shower Craig and I headed up to Craig's parents' house to celebrate Craig's dad's birthday. Good food, good friends and family =) Always a great time. Happy 29th Birthday EDDIE!
Sunday Craig and I took the kids (Roxy and Daisy) swimming at Lake Francis. They had so much fun! We came home and gave them a MUCH needed bath. Then they passed out! Ahhhh now it's our turn to relax the rest of the night!!!

Father's Day 2008

Craig and I had a nice long weekend. We celebrated Father's Day both days. Saturday we started off by heading to Megan's cheerleading car wash. They did a great job washing my little Corolla! After that Craig and I headed up "the hill" to Jennifer and Matt's for a Father's Day BBQ. We hung out by the pool and swam a little. It was nice to see the family and we got to relax! Sunday Spenser and I went to lunch with our dad and little sister Cameron. It was SO nice seeing both of them. I miss my little sister. I don't see her as much as I would like.

OOPS!!! I am bummed... I didn't get one pic of the father in law! SORRY "BIG ED"! I will get ya next weekend! =)

Now it's time for me to get ready for next Saturday! I am helping plan my friend Tiffany's bridal shower and finally it will all come together. I am so excited! I can't wait to celebrate with her! I am sure I will have lots of pics to post! I am so honored she chose me to be her Matron of Honor! I will do everything I can to make her day special and take some of the stress of planning a wedding off of her!!! I am here for ya Tiff!!!!

BBQ @ JAY AND ANDREA'S

Jay and Andrea invited us to their house for a bbq last weekend. We celebrated Nana's 30th birthday, Shelbie's 16th Birthday and Samantha's 8th grade graduation. We had a great time! There was a ton of food and of course lots to drink! Lots of laughs! We love you guys! Happy birthday(s) AND happy graduation! It was fun celebrating with you!
